Welcome to my blog. I like to get outside and explore new places. Whether that is catching fish in the Sierras or eating random pastries on my bike in the middle of nowhere. This site is where I document those trips and adventures. Some posts are detailed write-ups, others are just photos. It depends on how much I felt like writing that day (usually not much). Vedder Peak
Went hiking up to Vedder Mountain on the Vedder Mountain Ridge Trail. From the trailhead it’s about a 9km round trip with 377m of elevation gain. The trail sits in the forest with good tree coverage and a nice mix of ups and downs. Getting to the trailhead requires driving up a logging road for a few kilometers. Marin Headlands
Went hiking with my roommates Jack, Hannah, and Sophie up in the Marin Headlands on the weekend. We started out at the Golden Gate Bridge and ventured all the way to Tennessee Beach. From there we hiked over the hills onto the Coastal Trail. Then we walked down the valley to reach Rodeo Beach. When we arrived it was getting quite dark and we planned to call an Uber, but there was no reception. After a little panic we wandered over to the arts centre, where there luckily was a wedding underway. Thankfully they let us use their WiFi to call a ride and we were home free! ...
