Chilnualna Falls is located in Yosemite National Park. The trailhead starts near the Wawoma hotel. We stopped here for dinner before starting the hike (they have a great burger).
Day 1
Started the hike just before sundown. The trail winds up next to the falls. We stopped for the night to camp just past the top of the falls.
Day 2
We hit the snow pretty early in the day. Since it was June there was still tons of snow at the higher elevations. Every once and a while you would post hole (have one leg fall through the snow) and have to pull yourself out. We camped near a beautiful river and went for a nice ice cold dip before building a campfire and cooking some food.
Day 3
Hiked out back to the car. On the way home we grabbed some tacos in Fresno along with an ice cream cone for Ajay.
