Day 0
Nuri and I met at the airport in San Francisco and caught the 8pm flight to Vancouver.
Day 1
Spent the day working remotely before driving up to Gariabldi after work. We started the hike with a few hours before sunset giving us just enoguh time to get up to the campground before dark. The hike up was mostly all snow free with only a snowy sections as we approached the lake. When we got to the lake the sun was just about to set. It took us some time to find a tent pad that was not completely covered in snow. We eventually found one half covered and set up our tent. Once the tent was up we walked down to the wooden shelter to cook a quick dehydrated meal before heading to sleep.
Day 2
Today was the day we were going to hike Panorama Ridge. We had a quick breakfast and then made our way back to the trail. The trail quickly got covered in snow and eventually there was no more trail except for the boot prints of other hikers. When we reached the top there was a lot of clouds but they did break for a minutes to give us a great view of the lake.
We cooked another meal at the top before heading back dwon to camp.
Once we got back down to the lake we packed up our tent at the campground and made our way back down to the car. On the hike we got to see the sunset over the valley at the start of the switchbacks.
We stopped at this great Persian resturant in North Vancouver on our way back.
